The book of Ephesians is one of the richest theological books in the New Testament. This letter immediately raises our sights upward to focus on God’s Majesty, Sovereignty and Redemptive nature.
This book describes who we are in Christ and the difference that makes. Knowing our identity in Christ is a critical aspect of living a healthy and victorious Christian life. In a time similar to ours, the New Testament world was disorderly and filled with strife and rebellion. It is into that world that the work of Christ is seen bringing people together. It teaches how to develop community and the purpose of Christian leadership in the church. It discusses such practical aspects of how living a Spirit-filled life is designed to enrich our work, our marriages, and our homes. It also explains something of the spiritual battle that Christians are engaged in and how to overcome.
This course has 22 lectures broken into two parts, of 11 weeks each.
