Our Ladies Spring Event is an opportunity to be encouraged, inspired and connect with one another. Join us and learn how to shop smarter, and how to edit, sort and organize your closet!
“Help, I Have Nothing to Wear!”
Do you stand in front of a jam-packed closet saying to yourself, “I have nothing to wear?” The Closet Diva, a personal image consultant and author of the book, “Closet Rescue,” will help you to edit, sort and organize your closet to take the stress out of getting dressed in the morning. You will also learn how to shop smarter and stop buying mistakes. And, as a bonus, Janise will tell you the latest trends for Spring/Summer 2023!

For over 13 years, Janise (Bachler) Somer was known as “THE CLOSET DIVA” in Calgary and helped many men and women learn how to dress and refine their personal image in a way that brought them personal and professional success. Janise took her image consultant training at the Conselle Institute of Image Management in Utah in 2006 and authored the book, “The Closet Rescue,” in 2012 (available on Amazon in hard copy or in eBook format). Janise has appeared on Global & City TV in Calgary, has been interviewed on radio, featured in the Calgary Herald, and authored several image-related articles for local Calgary magazines. Janise has spoken for organizations such as the Calgary Health Region, Mount Royal College, Red Deer College, Intuit Canada, Excel Homes, and many more.
Today, Janise is working towards her Professional Life Coaching certification and on a business in the wellness industry. In her free time, she volunteers for Dress for Success here in Red Deer as a stylist, sings on the worship team here at Living Stones Church, and is on the Board of Directors at the Red Deer Dream Centre. Janise is married to Frank and they have three grown children and a cutie-patootie Yorkie named Sophie. In her free time, you’ll find Janise volunteering, power-walking, and writing.
