“…will be a city without walls because of the great number of people… declares the Lord, and I will be it’s glory within.” (Zechariah 2:45)
At our fall 2019 Prayer & Fasting, we received a prophetic word from Zechariah 2:4-5. This word came as we were praying for the walls of the sanctuary to come down, and it reminds us that we need to expand our reach and make an investment in something bigger than ourselves. God is concerned about Red Deer and the surrounding area; we need to see our community through His eyes. We believe that God will continue to grow Living Stones Church, and we are to be prepared for the harvest that He intends to bring. Our Vision for 2020 is to make disciples, and our goal is to be debt-free so we can launch plans for expanding our church. We can all make a difference! Our church founders and early congregants sacrificed time and finances to build this church so that we can have a place to go for healing, fellowship, learning, growing and worshipping Jesus. In 2015 Living Stones Church launched the “E-Squared” campaign because we were bursting at the seams and needed more classrooms. The plan was to fully fund the addition of 3 modular classrooms to our facility. This addition allowed for more space to equip and empower our church family. Pastor Paul said, “It’s not about bricks and mortar, it’s about equipping and empowering people to bring hope to others and we need a place to do that!”
In 2017 we launched a project to “bring us out of the 80’s”, and borrowed money for some much-needed renovations in the foyer and sanctuary. The foyer was given a fresh update. New screens, lighting and an expanded platform were added to the sanctuary. The Children’s Ministry entrance was updated to the theme of “KidsTown”.

We learn together to deepen our relationship with God so that we have tools and resources to live a victorious life and help others to do the same.
We are a vibrant community of faith, sharing our lives and supporting one another, and together we take the good news of the gospel to the world.
We are passionate about creating a place where hope and healing live, and we are free to be real here because God is at work in all of us.
We are here because this is where people find hope. We sacrifice because He sacrificed for us, we sacrifice for those coming after us, for those in our community, and for those around the world that we support in sharing our “Passion for God, Compassion for People.”
If every family unit participates we will pay off the $274,701 in 2020 and be ready to launch! We realize that of the 750 family units in our church family, not all contribute equally. If each family unit contributed an additional $30/month, our debt would be eliminated. Equal sacrifice, not equal giving is needed. Will you pray and ask God what you can do?
