SERVING IN WORSHIP & ARTS MINISTRIES

Worship Positions

Positions are once per month, during all three services. Positions marked with a (*) require attendance at Thursday evening rehearsals.

WORSHIP TEAM

Worship Team* – The role of the Worship Team; as a group of musically talented and spiritually called individuals, is to collectively use their gifts to lead attendees in corporate worship – creating an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. The Worship Team member uses their gifts as a musician and/or vocalist to provide worship on Sunday mornings and occasional special events.

  • Exhibits a deep and growing relationship with God.
  • Committed to prayer and has a passion for worship.
  • Humble and dependable team player.
  • Has a measure of skill with an instrument(s) and/or vocals.
  • Scheduled monthly/bi-monthly. Practices are mandatory during the week leading up to your serving date.
  • Practices: Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 PM.
  • Sundays: 7:30 AM practice, then play for all three services.

SOUND TECHNICIAN

Sound Technician* – The Sound Technician is responsible for operating the soundboard during Sunday services.

  • Must have an aptitude for how sound works, and how a sound system is set up; as well as have an ear for mixing sound.
  • Exhibits a deep and growing relationship with God.
  • Humble and dependable team player.
  • Audition is required.
  • Scheduled monthly/bi-monthly.
  • Practices are mandatory during the week: Thursdays 6:30-8:30 PM leading up to your serving date.
  • Sundays: 7:30 AM practice, then all for all three services.
  • There are also opportunities to operate the soundboard for occasional special services or events.

LIVE STREAM OPERATOR

Live-Stream Operator* – General time commitment is once a month for the 9:30 am Sunday service (starting at 8:15 am), as well as attending the preceding Thursday night worship practice at 6:30 pm. Operate the live-stream camera during services. Setup shots on multiple cameras and switch between them. Responsible for the playback of videos and media, and monitoring broadcast audio. Training required.

VISUAL MEDIA TECHNICIAN

Visual Media Technician – The visual media team is responsible for operating the lighting, projector, and live stream software and equipment during Sunday services. Our society today is very media-saturated, this it is with great importance that we are excellent in our presentation of the Gospel through our audio/visual ministry.

  • Has an aptitude for computers and software – although specific training will be provided.
  • Exhibits a deep and growing relationship with God.
  • Humble and dependable team player.
  • Scheduled monthly/bi-monthly on Sundays. May be requested for the occasional special event.
  • Sundays: 7:30 AM practice, then assist for all three services.

PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM

Photography Team – Take photos on Sundays and/or special events as needed.
