SUNDAY POSITIONS

Sunday Positions

  • Middle School Sunday School Teacher – Prepare and lead a weekly Bible lesson from the youth curriculum provided by the church. It is important that they form relationships with middle school youth to encourage spiritual growth. General time commitment – every second Sunday during the 9:30 am and 11:15 am service, to foster consistency.
  • Underground Youth Service Helpers – Sunday evenings (5:30-8:00 pm): Help with set-up, tear-down, greeting, or be one of our guest speakers. “The Underground” youth service is for Middle School and High School Youth.

MID-WEEK MINISTRIES - MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH

Mid-Week Ministries

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH LEADER

Have fun and go deep with kids! Be intentional to engage with students as a mentor and friend, to walk through life together and encourage each other on towards Christ. Take the initiative to connect youth with other leaders and youth attenders – creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. Connect with students in your small group – praying for them each week, memorizing Scripture with them, and participating in all evening games and activities. While the primary focus is building relationships with students, leaders will plan and lead event nights and facilitate Wednesday nights.

  • Has a passion for Middle School Youth (ages 11-14).
  • Exhibits character and a growing walk with the Lord.
  • Welcoming, servant heart, vulnerable, good listener, and willing to get out of their comfort zone.
  • Possesses communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Serving Time Commitment: General time commitment is from September to June. The total time commitment is 3-5 hours per week.

  • Every Wednesday: 6:30-9:30 PM
  • Youth Leader Meetings: Monthly
  • Special Events: All special events outside of Wednesday nights are optional.

MID-WEEK MINISTRIES - HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH LEADER

Go deep and go out! Our mission is that every student who graduates from our ministry would be established in Christ and community to go out and engage our world. Take the initiative to connect with other leaders and youth attendees, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. Be intentional in engaging with students in their small groups as a mentor and friend, walking through life together, and encouraging each other on towards Christ – inside and outside of Wednesday nights. Leaders will be involved in planning and leading event nights and participating in and facilitating Wednesday night programming, including leading small groups.

  • Has a passion for High School Youth (ages 15-18).
  • Exhibits character, and a growing walk with the Lord.
  • Welcoming, servant heart, vulnerable, good listener, and willing to get out of their comfort zone.
  • Possesses communication and teamwork skills.
  • Someone who is willing to take instruction.
  • Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Serving Time Commitment: Consistency is necessary in order to build meaningful relationships with students and have consistency in your small group. That is why we ask that you commit to the ministry for a full year.

  • Youth Leader Meetings: Bi-monthly
  • Special Events: All special events outside of Wednesday nights are optional.

Other Positions: High School Ministry Support – Pray for a specific group of youth, Youth Pastor and leaders, as well as provide occasional snacks, rides or help with special events.
