What is it that Jesus did for or through you (and when)?

I grew up in a Christian home and I am blessed to have known and walked with Jesus all my life. He really is my best friend, always there for me. In the last year, I have struggled with extreme anxiety in my job and during that time Christ has been amazingly close to me. I am just so incredibly thankful for that.

How did you first discover Living Stones Church?

We moved from Germany to Canada in the year 2000 and after a year of “church hopping,” we visited Living Stones Church. It immediately felt like home, I told my family that I am going to this church from now on. I really enjoy the depth of the sermons; they are absolutely loaded with historical information, they are Biblical, challenging, educational and convicting. It was exactly what I was looking for! I don’t come to church to “feel good”, I come to church to worship God and grow in my faith.

What’s it like for you to “do life” with us here at LSC?

LSC is a safe haven for me. I try to be part of it as much as possible. The people are great and with over 30 different ministries and areas to serve, it makes it easy to become a part of church life. It is so easy to get plugged in and grow!

Do you have any words of encouragement for someone who may be searching for God or is new to our church?

Come as you are; God loves you and we love you!

Is there anything else you would like to share? 

Over the past 18 years, I have visited many other churches. I always come back to Living Stones Church. This is my home.
